Road Maintenance
Liberty Township's two person crew of Jerry Welch & Joel Harrington maintain the 24 miles of streets, signs, storm water, parks, cemeteries, and other miscellaneous services as needed. And they will do it with service and a smile!
Maintain Liberty Township's Roads, Streets and alleys
Repair road surfaces, berms, and bases
Culvert replacement and repair
Cut roadside weeds, brush and trees
Snow and ice removal plow snow from Township roads
Sign Maintenance
Maintain all Township signs which include Stop, Speed, Parking, Curve, Caution Children, Street Name, Parks, Road Work, Detour, and others as directed by the Township Trustees.
Installation of Guardrails, barricades and traffic control equipment
Storm Water Maintenance
Maintain all Township storm water collection systems. Including: installation replacement and cleaning of storm water pipe and culverts. Construct new and clean storm water ditches.
Park Maintenance
Mow, trim and remove litter from Parks. Mow and trim ball fields. Off season winterization of parks. Assist with special events.
Cemetery Maintenance
Sale of Lots/Graves. Perform interments. Construct and rebuild headstone foundations. Gravesite maintenance. Install V.A. markers. Decorate Cemeteries for Memorial Day, Fourth of July, and Veterans Day.
Miscellaneous Maintenance
Repair and Maintain Township garage, tools, equipment, and grounds. Keep equipment maintenance logs. Storm damage "Clean Up Days". Dump trash and remove roadside litter. Co-ordinate semi annual Township clean up. Install/remove U.S. Flags on utility poles for Memorial Day, Fourth of July and Veterans Day.
